Course Description
Students will gain more advanced knowledge of ExtremeCloud™ IQ – Site Engine tools such as templates, workflows, and automations. Overviews of Extreme Analytics, Extreme Policy Manager, and Extreme Control are included. Students will also be introduced to ExtremeControl Workflows built into ExtremeCloud IQ Site Engine and well as integration with Extreme Connect and introduction to APIs is also examined. Students have these concepts reinforced with a hands-on lab experience working with a pre-configured network.

You must be certified in ExtremeCloud™ IQ – Site Engine – Installation and Configuration. The XIQ-SE courses are recommended to be taken in the following order: Installation and Configuration, Management, Advanced Configuration, and Troubleshooting. Students should possess an understanding of network fundamentals, and general network management concepts, as well as network security concepts and technologies. In addition, Extreme Networks recommends the following courses prior to enrolling in the XIQ-SE courses: -Campus Switching -Extreme Cloud IQ – Controller (formerly Extreme Campus Controller (XCC)) or Wireless Core |
