Course Description
ExtremeControl. Students will learn methods to properly install and configure their ExtremeControl engines. Use cases and deployments for ExtremeControl within different network models are also discussed. The primary ExtremeControl use case covered in this course is visibility of end-systems with Passive and Pass-Through Modes. Components of authentication to include proxying RADIUS are discussed. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience installing ExtremeControl into a preconfigured network.

The Welcome Series – Meet ExtremeControl (Coming Soon!) associate level certification exam is a mandatory pre-requisite and must be completed prior to attending the ExtremeControl – Installation and Configuration class. Students should possess an understanding of network fundamentals, and general network management concepts, as well as network security concepts and technologies.
